Project Description

The Glenmacnass Waterfall can better be described as a waterslide because of its gradual descent into the valley below. It can be spectacular to view nonetheless, particularly after heavy rainfall as the Glenmacnass River falls from Mt. Mullaghcleevaun into the valley below. The river joins the Glendalough river at Laragh to become the Avonmore river which in turn joins the Avonbeg river to become the Avoca river at ‘The Meetings of the Water’ near Avoca village.
